Re: Ant arrested for drink driving
Apparently The sun turned up at ITV about a year or so ago with a fully made up front page and exclusive story about his exploits. Which they didn’t go ahead with on the basis they were given exclusive access for future stuff. Dec was then sent on a long paid for holiday and was contractually not allowed to been seen smiling in public even. True story.

Am guessing Ant was in the drivers seat on the left as you looked through the windscreen with Dec in the passengers seat?
You think they could have swapped over sides just this once if Ant was pissed out of his head.

Evening Standard latest...

Ant McPartlin has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after smashing into two cars.

A young girl, believed to be three years old, was rushed to hospital after the I’m A Celebrity Host, 42, reportedly lost control of his car ahead of the collision on Sunday.

Mr McPartlin was arrested at the scene in Richmond, south-west London, after failing a roadside breathalyser test.

The troubled television personality allegedly smashed his black Mini after losing control of his vehicle on a roundabout.

The car then collided with a green Mini with the young girl and a couple inside, The Mirror reported.

His mother was allegedly in the car with him at the time of the collision in Lower Richmond Road.

Amy Cassie, 23, who said she helped Ant's mum get the dog out of the car, told the Mirror: “Ant seemed furious after crashing the car and was shouting at his mum who was also in the car. She was trying to get him to calm down.

She added: “The police took him to the back of the police car to remove him from the situation."

Mr McPartlin has been taken to a south London police station for questioning.

In statement, the Met Police said: “A number of individuals were treated at the scene for minor injuries only.

“A child passenger from one of the cars has been taken to hospital for a check up as a precaution.

“A 42-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink-driving after failing a roadside breathalyser test.”

"He has since been released under investigation. Enquiries continue."
